Malibu Lake FSC

Local FSC

Overview

The Malibu Lake Fire Safe Council consists of two communities (Malibu Lakeside Community Association/Malibou Lake Mountain Club) originally formed in 2003 as Lakeside Firewise which received a $96,000 grant. In 2015, the FSC was rekindled as a program under MLCA, a 501(c)(3). Since then, the FSC has had community meetings, home hardening assessments, distributed fire resource materials, and four Chipper Day's with the LA Co Fire Dept and private contractors.

Our mission is to educate our MLFSC neighborhoods to make our community fire safe.
