Pasadena Glen FSC

Overview

Located in beautiful Pasadena Glen, a canyon on the edge of the Angeles National Forest with over 150 years of history, the Pasadena Glen Fire Safe Council (PGFSC) was created to provide education and programs for fire prevention and preparedness to all residents of Pasadena Glen, in order to reduce the loss of lives, personal property, and natural resources from wildfires.

  • Tree Walk

  • CERT training
  • Glen Radio Team (GMRS and HAM)
  • Traffic Control
  • Emergency Communications
  • Community fuel and invasive plant reduction
  • Potluck meals with Fire representatives
  • Distribution of literature about fire, planting, preparation, evacuation, inventory, clearance
  • Manage large green waste bins for community use during fire clearance
  • Evacuation response drills, maps, training
