Overview
The SWRCFSC sponsors community meetings with fire experts, provides educational hand-out materials, offers vendor workshops for fire-safe product demonstrations, sponsors regular community brush collection and chipping events, and implements a variety of special donation and grant-funded projects to accomplish this mission.
Our mission is to mobilize residents, organizations, and agencies in SW Riverside County to help make their properties as fire-safe as possible.
Recent Updates
- Our ongoing neighborhood brush collection and chipping events provide our rural residents a depository to bring their cut brush to once they've cleared their defensible space. We've recently initiated a program of offering rural residents discounted high visibility, high-resolution address signs allowing emergency responders to better find their homes.
